Gene L. Detwiler, 54, of 503 W. Fourth St., Minonk, died at 9:15 a.m. Monday (May 3, 2004) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.

Services: none scheduled at this time. Cremation accorded. Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors: his wife, Trudy Johnson Detwiler; his father, Russell Detwiler, Flanagan; two daughters, Jessica Detwiler and Sara Detwiler, both of Normal; and one brother, John (Jane) Detwiler, Flanagan.
